Caser

Caser is published by Flape Services, a business registered in the Netherlands (Chamber of Commerce / KvK no. 74947923). For the purposes of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Flape Services would act as the data controller for any personal data the App processed. As described below, however, the App does not process any personal data.

We collect nothing. Caser does not ask for, gather, or receive any personal information. Specifically, the App does not:

• require an account, sign-in, name, or email address;
• access your contacts, photos, camera, microphone, location, or device identifiers;
• contain any analytics, crash-reporting, advertising, or tracking technology;
• use any third-party software development kits (SDKs) that collect data;
• connect to the internet or transmit anything off your device.

To make the App work, Caser saves a small amount of information locally on your device only, using Apple’s on-device storage frameworks. This data never leaves your device and is never sent to us or to anyone else. It includes:

• your practice attempts: which drills you completed, your self-ratings (Nailed it / Partial / Missed), and, if you use the optional “Build it” mode, the answer outline you typed;
• your app settings and preferences (such as your chosen practice mode, haptics, and your daily-reminder choice).

This information is not linked to your identity and cannot be accessed remotely. It exists solely so the App can show your practice history and remember how you like to practice.

If you turn on the optional daily practice reminder, Caser schedules a local notification on your device at the time you pick. This is handled entirely by iOS on your device, and no reminder data is sent to us or over any network.

Because no data is collected or transmitted, there is nothing to use for marketing, profiling, or any other purpose, and nothing to sell or share. Caser has no third-party partners, advertisers, or data processors.

The locally stored data described in Section 3 remains on your device for as long as the App is installed. You are always in full control:

• Deleting the App from your device permanently removes all of its stored data.
• You can also reset your practice history at any time from Home → Settings → “Reset Statistics”.

We retain no copy of your data, because we never receive one.

Caser is intended for a general audience and does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under the age of 16. Since the App collects no personal data at all, it poses no data-privacy risk to children or any other user.

Under the GDPR and similar laws, you have rights to access, correct, delete, and restrict the processing of your personal data. Because Caser does not collect or hold any personal data about you, there is nothing for us to retrieve, change, or erase on your behalf. Any data the App stores lives only on your device and is fully under your control, as described in Section 5.

If you have questions or wish to exercise any right, contact us at privacy@flape.net. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. In the Netherlands, this is the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.

If we ever update Caser in a way that changes how it handles data (for example, by adding a feature that requires data collection), we will revise this Privacy Policy and update the “Last updated” date above before that version is released. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
